I'd like to offer a link to a new brand of ebikes: http://empoweredebikes.com
They offer a number of electric bicycles and tricycles and including some folding ebike models.

Personally I like the small folding 24V model.  I think that it offers sufficient range and the compact size make it much easier to carry up elevators, not to mention storage.

Yes.
I actually own and ride the 20" 24V Folding Ebike model the Agilis - http://www.empoweredebikes.com/Agilis.php
It is very compact and light weight.  I have been using it for my daily 12 miles round-trip commute for several months now.  I am very happy with it.
